Community Specific Workshops

Community Specific Workshops were held in March 2010 to receive public input and develop a vision for each of Encinitas’ five communities. Each workshop featured a brief presentation and small group discussion.
Each of the workshops were similar in format, asking participants to discuss, record and critique personal and community issues.  Attendees were also asked to fill out a comment card to record their comments and to indicate what they were thinking about the future of Encinitas. Workshop participants were asked to describe what Encinitas will and/or should be like in the Year 2035 and identify other key issues/opportunities. Input received during the first round of workshops helped identify the vision for each community and in preparation for the Citywide Public Workshop on May 1, 2010.
