This page contains environmental information on the Comprehensive General Plan Update (CGPU) as required by the California Environmental Quality Act. Notice of Preparation and Scoping Meeting
The Comprehensive General Plan Update recently published its Notice of Preparation and Scoping Meeting(s). This section will be updated to reflect more information about the Scoping Meetings and Comments received.
At this point, the City is soliciting comments on the draft General Plan. Upon direction from Council, the City will complete environmental technical studies and prepare a draft EIR. When the draft EIR is released, there will be a 60 day public and agency review period. The City will prepare responses to any comments received in relation to the draft EIR during the public review period as required by CEQA. Additionally, the Planning Commission and City Council will ultimately hold public hearings to review and consider certification of the Final EIR in association with approval of the General Plan update.
