March 28, 2011 Workshop

Over 200 City residents and community members attended the citywide public workshop on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Community and Senior Center at 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive.

This workshop was designed to test the level of support for different policy apporaches and get feedback on key issues.  In order to discuss various policy directions and/or approaches, participants visited work stations, examined various display maps, and had an opportunity to speak one-on-one with staff and members of the consultant team.

Based on the sign-in sheet, 89% of those attending indicated that they lived in Encinitas and workshop participants represented every community. Other participants had no response or indicated "other". Of those that said they lived in city, representation came from Old Encinitas (27%), New Encinitas (19%), Leucadia (24%), Cardiff (23%), and Olivenhain (7%).
