pollution

Post #33 by Denise Martin on October 7, 2011 11:07AM

I live in an association that borders the El Camino corridor.

The pollution that I get from the boulevard is incredible.

My home is a large dust bowl and I am sure that the air quality is not the best either. As it stands now, as soon as I dust, another layer moves in. It is very difficult to keep my house clean. The quality of life and health for the citizens should be an upmost concern for City Council. Adding more traffic and higher density will only make things worse. Would you like to breath in the exhaust fumes of an even busier El Camino Real? I think not!. That is one of many reasons the general plan as it stands now should NOT be approved. As a New Encinitas resident, I never knew about the plans for the city until recently. I encourage you to do what is right and re-evaluate the plan whilst including the input of ALL the citizens.
