September 19, 2011 Workshop

Over 150 City residents, business owners, property owners, and other community members attended the citywide public workshop on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Community and Senior Center at 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive.

The draft General Plan was released for public comment on September 1, 2011. This workshop was designed to honor the 18-month citizen driven process. Workshop participants visited work stations to examine various display maps and to speak one-on-one with staff and members of the consultant team about draft policies and approaches. The workshop also set the stage of the next phase of outreach. Over the next four months, City staff will be soliciting community feedback on draft goals and policies.
